Photackular is about learning to see.
I’ve been working professionally as a photographer and creative director for over 15 years, but long before that, I was simply curious about the world around me, light on a wall, a fleeting expression, the geometry of a city street.
Street and travel photography are where I feel most alive. There’s no control, no reset button, just presence. You have to be aware, patient, and ready. The world offers extraordinary moments every day. Most people just walk past them.
I don’t.
Photackular grew from that mindset, paying attention, slowing down, and recognizing that beautiful images aren’t rare. They’re everywhere.
In addition to my professional work, I teach photography at the College of Marin. Guiding students to “learn to see” has reinforced what I believe deeply: photography isn’t just about cameras or settings. It’s about awareness. Observation. Connection.
On my YouTube channel, I share daily images, stories behind the shots, and lessons I’ve learned from years behind the lens. My hope is simple, to encourage others to look up, stay curious, and document their world in a more meaningful way.
Welcome to my world.
I can’t wait to see yours.
